Why microwaves still are sold with a “popcorn” button but I have yet to find a box of microwave popcorn which simply says, “Put in microwave and push the “popcorn” button.”

Even though this remains the case I still always push the popcorn button when I am putting popcorn into the microwave.

If I really wanted to stand over the stove for three to five minutes timing how far apart the kernels pop I would just put the darn kernels into a saucepan with oil and do it. Sheesh!

Makes me wonder about the IQ of Orville.
