THE TABERNACLE

As I have read through the Old Testament, I am impressed with the amount of detail that God put into the Tabernacle. Throughout Numbers there are various instances where specific instructions are given as to how to protect, care for and worship in this holy of holies.

In Numbers 8 the Levites had the privilege of attending to the altar.

In Numbers 18 and 19 there were more instructions on offerings.

There is much more peppered throughout the Old Testament.

In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 the Bible says that we are now the temple of God.

19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 
20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
I do believe that it is important to live a healthy life as a Christian but I believe it is much more important to cleanse our hearts and minds with the Word of God. Then the Holy Spirit will be at home in our bodies. https://singleparents.dfwhostingwebsites.com/the-temple-of-god-2/
