A PRAYER REQUEST

I don’t usually ask for prayer for my needs and this is no exception. I seldom ask for prayer for my family because God has given me exceptional children with good health.

Today I am breaking with my tradition and asking my readers to pray for my son in Louisiana. He has got a test coming up in his engineering course and he needs to do well on it to pass the class. He is spending all day today studying for this exam. So I ask you to pray that God will guide him in his studying and assist him in retaining the information that he will need for the test tomorrow.

For some reason I feel uneasy about asking this. I don’t have any problems asking you to pray for other people but I have a hard time humbling myself before you and being honest with you about my needs or my families needs. Yet I know that God says if we are faithful in the small things he will give us the larger things also. So although it may seem small in comparison to some of the other issues I bring before you, requesting intercession, I pray that you are faithful in praying for my son.

Thank you, Gracie Lynne

  1. I’ll pray for your son Gracie Lynne, and for you to not feel uneasy. I don’t think God would want you to feel that way. But I know we people are full of feelings. I have some un-ease myself having just bought an expensive ticket to a far away country that I have become connected to through missions. Maybe you would pray for me, that God would confirm that call and calm my fears. Thanks in advance. Shirley

    1. I will pray for you! Confirmation and peace be upon you! You are a brave women to go overseas because of a mission connection. I too am considering traveling overseas but more because I need a vacation from work this summer. It seems as if all I do is work sometimes and as I read the Bible I realize how working hard doesn’t really impress God but resting does. Funny Guy! I also am hoping for a God connection with the son I have asked to go with me. He has been hurt so deeply by his Dad that I don’t think he realizes how much his Heavenly Father loves him. Please let me know how God reveals Himself to you. I enjoy hearing from you. I will keep you in prayer and look forward to hearing how your trip goes. Be blessed.
