I have known of this issue for two years. I have refused to cover it on my blog up until this time.

Today I read of another oil spill in North Dakota and I finally relented to my conscience. It had been banging on the door to my brain for two whole years, I had to give in.

The Keystone Pipeline, in my opinion, is a national threat to our country.

I know of many who have used the path of civil disobedience and protests to fight this looming monster. I currently think a different path may work.

What I am going to do is to fight this monster with my brain and my talent for writing. I usually win in that arena if you haven’t noticed.

Since my blog seems to be gaining a large amount of traffic and since I value my readers and their intelligent minds I am going to teach my audience about this threat. I am also going to ask you,my readers, to become activists in whatever way you deem proper to stop this pipeline before it gets started.

I will cover all angles of this pipeline trying to stick to the facts. I will split this subject up into pieces so it is not so large a buffet that you can not digest the facts.

I understand that there are a lot of lies being told by the oil companies and the Republicans.

Those of you who have read my blog know I have little tolerance for deceit. In fact, lies make me furious. I have far little to no tolerance whatsoever for those politicians who claim to be Christians when it comes to pro-life matters and then lie like a Mafia kingpin when it comes to environmental matters.

So hold on my friends and read as much as you can. Then contact the State Department, John Kerry, President Obama and also each and every governor in the pathway of this danger and ask them to protect not only our country but also the world.

For if this pipeline is approved we put our future on a very tenuous tightrope and we may all fall to our deaths.
