A few years back my daughter asked me if I wanted a kindle for Christmas. I resisted at first, something about turning the pages of a book seemed so holy I did not want to transgress against it.
But I was losing space in my home to books. I did not have the money to buy another book case.
So I relented.
I have never been so thrilled in my life with a gift as I was with that kindle.
To be able to have all of my reading options available in the palm of my hand seemed to good to be true.
To have the options be so affordable due to the genius of Jeff Bezos was beyond wonderful for me.
