So you say since I am a single mother that my children will not amount to anything since their dad left.
Really?
Then explain to me how my oldest son got a full ride scholarship to UCF to study Pre-Med.
He is also positioning himself to apply for the Rhodes Scholarship which would allow him a free ride to Oxford for his doctorate degree.
Well, he probably just got a good dose of IQ in his genes.
If he was that intelligent then how come he has to work so hard at studying that he barely has time to call his mother in Texas?
He is intelligent but he is disciplined also.
Well that is only one of your children.
You’re right my youngest son just received a $75,000.00 scholarship to Louisiana Tech for his proposed degree in Engineering.
He is also a captain and goalie of his water polo team and he doesn’t have any mercy for teammates which are undisciplined. He reads them the riot act if they don’t play right.
Well don’t you have a daughter? She is probably like her mother, just a dreamer which is still trying to find the path to success.
She is like me in many ways but she also has a great deal of her dad in her. He is a brilliant man who is very resourceful in business.
She has beauty, artistic ability and she also is very disciplined.
She has realized at 21 years old that she is as intelligent as her brothers but she needs to work at her grades as much as they do.
So what is the key to my success as a mother?
I believe that the moment that their dad left me for another woman God took his place. He has promised that through scripture.
Try finding a better Father than God. Bet you can’t.
Amen.. I agree. God steps in when earthly fathers fail.
Yes He does and I give him total credit for my children’s success in life.
You are so right. I do too.
