One of the things I hate about dating sites are the flirt messages. Senior People Meet is the worst. You can flirt for free but you have to pay to actually send a message. So the cheapskate men who don’t want to pay for the service bombard my inbox with stupid flirts.

I have written in my dating profile how much this has irritated me but apparently they are not only cheap but stupid also and/or illiterate.

So I decided to have some fun with the fools. I decided to send a message back to the actual flirts but in jest, no less.

I will give you some examples…

Flirt message says: “You definitely caught my eye.”
My reply: “Why in the world would you throw your eye at me? That is just gross!”

Flirt message says: “Great profile. I would love to hear from you?”
My reply: “How loud do you want me to speak? Can you hear this? I DO NOT LIKE FLIRT MESSAGES!”

Flirt message says: “Did you know you were my favorite.”
My reply: “Compared to who?”

Flirt message says: “Great photo. It really stands out from the crowd.”
My reply: “Really?!!! Does it stand all on its own two feet? Wow, I have never seen a photo do that!”

I used to get guys sending me multiple flirt messages. Now I don’t have to worry about more than one flirt message before they leave me alone.

I have found it a very good way to sift through the potentials. It eliminates men who are freeloaders, stupid and those who are lacking a sense of humor. Works for me!
