I try not to dive into the abyss of politics. However, when politics becomes crazy I think it is imperative that those of us who still retain some sort of sanity expose those who are thinking thoughts which may be unpatriotic.

Obama has done many things which I have admired. Unfortunately his latest stunt has not been in that category.

Bowe Bergdahl deserted America when he walked off into the mountains. He not only deserted America but sacrificed the lives of eight young men who were representing our country in a manner which was honorable.

To laud this young man as a hero is outrageous. To give air time to his Dad, who is sympathetic to terrorists, is to side with the enemy.

It has been a foreign policy standard not to negotiate with terrorists. Somehow five terrorists have now been released for the exchange of one deserter. The terrorists have won in this fight and we have lost.

The terrorists are becoming more prevalent and more violent. Every time we become a door mat to them they will just wipe more blood on our face.

I wonder what the President was thinking. I think the thoughts may have traveled along the paths of irrational and illogical.

When Ronald Reagan was President he talked about the “trickle down” theory. I haven’t seen that be to be a working theory in economics but it seems as if crazy is trickling down through the government.

I have met insanity in the family court system and know some judges to be anything but logical and fair in their judgements.

I always held out hope for our President though, thinking that maybe he was sane.

This last stunt that he pulled causes concern for me. I wonder whose side he is really on and if it is not on the side of America why is he still our President?
