ANSWERED PRAYER

I have shared with you on previous posts about my brother’s divorce. Divorce is devastating in any circumstance but when it affects a family farm the pain can go very deep. At times I have wondered if my prayers would be answered.

Nonetheless, as I have reached out to my brother during this time in his life I have seen miraculous changes in him.

He has always gone to church but due to the divorce, has been lead by God to leave the church of our childhood. He has become good friends with the pastor of his new church. In conversations with him he has said that the highlight of his week is the Sunday and Wednesday service.

Although there were certain members of our childhood church which contributed to the breakup of his marriage, I have never heard my brother say a word of disrespect in relation to that church.

During this time of despair my brother has become more vulnerable and has opened up to deeper friendships with other men. He has made several new friends and has mentioned to me how much he has enjoyed spending time with them.

Recently I was a bit worried about him. He is a farmer and harvest is coming up. His ex-wife was an amazing help during this time in previous years. Having a grain cart driver while doing harvest is essential for a successful harvest run. He had advertised in the paper, asked our brother and our brother-in-law to help and no one could help him.

He had one more avenue of hope, that was his new pastor. That dear man of God found a retired farmer who actually goes to his church which can help him. We were all so grateful for this!

I know I have asked for prayers for my brother and I just want you to know they ARE BEING ANSWERED! Thank you so much for interceding for him.
