Sometimes life hands you a lemon and you find out that God intends for you to transform that into lemonade which will nourish his kingdom!
I had an issue with my server. I had bought a domain name from them and I began getting calls from all over the world to help me develop a website. I don’t need a website developer and I never had this issue with other domain name companies so I needed to call my server for this blog.
I got a woman on the phone who was a single mother. She was truly an amazing single mother and we shared our testimony with each other.
She said she would resolve this problem and then we started talking. I told her a little about my life and where I was in my life and then I told her about my soulmate.
I don’t believe I have met him yet.
So what am I looking for in a soulmate?
If you read Ephesians 5:25-27 you will find what I am looking for.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing[b] her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
Ladies, if your dating life has been anything similar to mine you have to fight men off because all they want is a roll in the hay. Yet, that is the furthest thing from the desire of God. God wants you to have a man who is concerned about how you will be presented to Christ as a bride.
“That is without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
He, in essence, should be more concerned about your purity than you. I know it is hard to find this but that is only because most women don’t demand this. If they did, men would rise up to be the godly husbands and fathers that God desires them to be.
A pastor long ago said a very powerful statement in a sermon. “You have what you tolerate” We as women have tolerated sexual impurities for far too long. It is time we started encouraging each other in our walk to remain pure and patient.
I didn’t think I would ever say I was thankful for loads of telemarketing calls, but because that happened I was able to minister to this sweet single mother that worked for my server. That is taking a lemon and making it into a terrific lemonade!!
