This is the sixth day of tidbits from The Shattered Vase being released. I sure do hope you like it!

The secretary made sure that the phone line was dead. Then she
turned, looking up at Megan. “Did I read the script the way you
wanted me to, boss?”
“Yes, you did perfectly. That conversation should make it clear to
Susanna that Joe and I are more than coworkers.” Megan had a gleam
in her eyes. “I am hoping she will give fuel to my fire by making Joe’s
home life so crazy that he will divorce her. Then he will be all mine.”
“Give me that script.” Megan tore the script up into little pieces,
depositing the evidence into the trash basket.
“You will see a raise on your next paycheck.”
The secretary smiled. “Thanks, boss.”
“Do I really saunter like a lioness?” Megan walked away, swinging
her hips with seduction riding side saddle.
“Yes, boss you do.” The secretary said. The secretary waited until
Megan was out of eyesight before she rolled her eyes and pretended
to gag.
