BEES AND PEOPLE

I have been blessed with a beautiful garden in the back of my house. It didn’t come with the house and it has been a lot of work to install and maintain but it is God who has blessed it with growth and beauty.

A couple of summers ago I was at my favorite neighbors house and we were in her backyard enjoying conversation, when a bee started circling us.

She became scared. She said she her dad had gotten bit by a bee when she was little. He had an allergic reaction, had fallen and hit his head against a brick wall, resulting in copious amounts of blood.

As a result she had fear installed in her as a little girl in the bee department.

I thought back to my experiences in my garden. Bees constantly flew around me and never once did they sting me. I believe it is because they were surrounded by flowers which they were much more interested in than my skin.

My neighbor’s backyard did not have one flower in it because they have chosen to have dogs instead of flowers. I was wondering why that bee was even in her yard terrorizing her when right over the fence there was a paradise of flowers.

Sometimes people can be like bees. They have a beautiful garden which God has blessed them with but instead of appreciating what is in their own garden they cross the fence and try to do harm to those who may not have the same blessings which they have.

It is a common trait amongst narcissistic people to cross the fence and inhabit the yard which  has no flowers. It is pitiful that they  do so to try and sting other people.
