When I first started this blog I had no knowledge base about the technological side of blogging. All I had knowledge of was that God wanted me to be a Christian writer and gave me the talent of writing.
Although I am intelligent when I enter into a new arena of learning it can be a bit overwhelming to me.
I have learned a lot about the technological side of blogging but it has taken some time.
I have wondered why more of my audience did not comment on my blogs. I am not an island, neither am I perfect, so I encourage conversation, even if it is in opposition to my view.
I have had the privilege of becoming a friend to another blogger, which is Secret Angel, and she has been kind enough to send me personal emails about her difficulty with my site.
In her latest correspondence she said that she could not comment. This bothered me because I suspected that may have happened to others.
To not be able to comment on a blog is horrible. I liken it to inviting someone into your home and then slamming the door in their face, locking it just before they cross the threshold into your glorious and inviting parlor.
Yesterday I was at a seminar about monetizing my blog and I noticed that one of my plugins was most likely the culprit for blocking comments so I deactivated it.
So my dear friends I invite you back into my parlor for conversation, grab yourself a coffee and place a comment please.
If you find that errant door locking you out again please email me at gracielynne6@aol.com so I know and can continue to work on fixing that problem.
With love and thanks for the time you take to read what God has put on my heart.
Since you don’t have a like button I have to knock on your door and make you sure you know that I like your blog! π
Thank you so much for knocking! I love it when people knock on my door. π I am going to a wordpress meeting this evening and one of my objectives is to find that like button which has been hiding and lure it out of the darkness and into the light of my blog. lol. Thanks again. You are an absolute doll!
Good luck with the button! π
Hopefully you will be able to see it tomorrow. I don’t know why this like button thing seems to be such a trouble but maybe it is for a reason. π
You’re doing great job Gracie Lynne!
Thank you! It is so nice to hear that from you! I try as hard as I can to open my heart to God and then to share His love with my readers. Your comment means so very much to both Him and I. May God bless you!
Hey sister!!! Hope this comment gets through. Can you also add a “like” button plugin. I have added a donate button on my blog and await God to open the door for donations. All in His timing… Many blessings to you!!!
HALLELUJAH… IT WORKED! Keep up the good work Gracie!
Yeah!!! Thanks for the comment! Hope to hear much more from you. π

Good for you I will try to add a like button when I find the proper plug in. I realized that I had a floating share button which was a distraction to my posts. I hope your donate button finds people who are willing to donate.
Mine has not found people that are willing to donate. I am quite disappointed in that. I know some of my readers are well to do and I wish they were more supportive.
Alas though, I think it is important for me to focus on obedience to God and let God focus on opening the walllets of my readers.
There is one blogger who actually lives off of donations and probably more than one so I know it is possible.
God will open hearts when He is ready. We can just walk in faith. Blessings to you, my sister!
Hope this comment comes through to you. I enjoy your blog, it is insightful and helpful. I would also like to suggest that many of your readers may be looking to supplement their income, and I would like to share a link for information about selling products on eBay and Amazon and other online ecommerce sites. This web site also has a list of selling groups, both local and online, to help sellers find seller groups to learn and find friendship and support in their online selling endeavors. http://websellerslunchclub.com
Good job Marilyn! I enjoy our friendship and thank you for commenting. π
And thank you for accepting my comment.
You are welcome. That is the least I can do for you considering all that you have taught me. I am right now working on getting a google ad sense account set up. I would have never been able to do that without you. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to assist you.

lol. You remain the only follower who keeps busting into the parlor whether the door is locked or not. Love that!
Back door, Front door, through the window. I am glad you got this fixed because I was really tired of having to login every time I wanted to comment on your posts.
Yes but you were persistent and I so appreciated that. I am glad that I got this fixed because I was wondering why I was not getting more comments and I thought it may have been my style of writing. Now I know that was not the case.:)
You Rock Gracie, So Rock on Girl !!!!!
Thanks my friend. π
Gracie, when I was a kid I used to walk over a mile to my friend’s house. Knocking down the doors to your blog was a piece of cake.
You make me giggle. As a little girl I rode bike two miles to go swimming in town with my friend and then two miles back home again. I do agree this is much easier than that. π
